Sofa

So today Gigi was able to jump onto the sofa at home because she wanted the corn I was eating while sitting on the sofa. She's so food motivated!!!

She loves the backyard...

...because there are pears, which are -as my sister said- food and toy all in one, and she can dig!

Backyard, Laptop

This was her Thursday in the backyard running. She looks so round here XD

Tonight, she climbed on my laptop and did this! She discovered something even I didn't know how to do... The silly girl. :P

Btw, for anyone who has this Windows desktop rotate problem,
you just have to press CTRL + ALT + [Up Arrow] to fix it. This only happens though if it's a feature of your video card.

That's right. One of Gigi's pictures has been selected in the TOP 10 dogs of the TOP 20 pets (out of over 3000 photos), which means she's in the 2nd round of CW Bay Area's Top Pets!!!

Little naughty is coming to town....

Oh boy, Gigi is coming back to Fremont after 4 weeks in Davis. She was still afraid to explore too much when she was here, but now she is fearless?! How do we keep her from getting all the stuff around the house???

Hope our house will still be in one piece after this weekend....haha

Cuteness and running

Just thought she looked cute with one ear flopped down. Boy her ears are huge.

I took Gigi running a longer route today to the path behind the house and down Safeway. This was her afterwards...for like 5 minutes. She then ate dinner, pooped a lot, and was hyper all over again. She has so much energy! And I haven't even eaten dinner yet! :(

Silly/stupid moment

Today, since Gigi pulled down the screen for the backyard door, in Gigi's hyperactive frenzy, she ran into the glass of the backyard door. There was a big thud but she just went right back into running in circles around the sofa.

Oh that silly girl...Reminds me of those Windex commercial crows.

Petco Visit

Yesterday I took Gigi to take a stroll around Petco to get socialized since I don't know of any dog owners here in Davis and wanted her to meet some more people.

She had such a blast and so did all the people in Petco. I think almost everyone she passed by in Petco stopped to say hi to her. Common comments were, "She's so cute!" "She's gorgeous and so friendly!" "It's great how she's not scared of people at all!"

Three employees even asked to say hi to her. With ears down and tail wagging, she jumped right over to them when the bend down. One of the employees even asked to give her a snack. :)

I asked a lady with a gold retriever to have Gigi meet her. Gigi immediately started pouncing on the golden retriever and play dancing around her. Her high pitched barking could be heard echoing throughout the store. The lady also introduced me to Wags Hotels in West Sacramento. She said they have a puppy daycare all day and it's a great way to socialize your puppies. Sounds interesting.

Gigi loves to cuddle

Last night, after her 5:00 AM potty time, the sleepy Gigi crawled next to me sitting by the crate and laid down. When I tried tapping her crate to get her to go inside, she crawled under my propped legs and laid down again.

In the morning, after her potty time, she again crawled into my lap and snuggled for a while.

Now, she is sleeping under the kitchen table. Since she can't cuddle, she sleeps next to the next closest thing.

Toys for Gigi

I went to Petco to buy some Greenies for Gigi. I passed by the dog toy isle and can't help looking at the toys. Boy, there are so many different kinds and they are so expensive!! $15 for a plastic chewing chicken!! Oh well, that's how people make money. They knew pet owners can't help buying new toys for their babies. Well, they got me too. I ended up buying two for Gigi, hehe....

This morning Gigi heard daddy talking from the bathroom and sat outside to wait for him. :)
