First day at work

I brought GG to work for the first time today. She was curious and explored everywhere at first, then finally settled in. Most of the time she was laying under my desk peeking out. She was such a good girl today. Many people came by to greet her and she's mostly friendly to them, especially those that brought treats XD

GG's 1st swim "lesson"

Today GG went to have her first swim lesson! The whole family was there to cheer her on. A coach was there to warm her up to the water in the beginning, and then she learned how to coordinate her limbs better and started swimming on her own :)


She was cautious but didn't struggle much at all. The coach even praised her for having muscles XD

Gigi's first swim

We went to the SF corgi gathering yesterday and she saw her sister Kiko again. They played a lot together :)



Afterwards we took Gigi to walk in the trail of the park. She's so happy to be walking off leash by herself.




Aren't she pretty among the little flowers? hehe....

Then came a ducky on the trail and of course Gigi bear went chase after it. She kept chasing and chasing....down to the pond.....into the water!!!! She actually submerged into the water for a second before coming back to the surface. Her natural swimming skill kicked in and swam for a few feet back to the bank before Tac greped her out. Oh boy, it all happened so fast. So glad she knew how to swim back to the shore. Tac was saying she's prepared to dive in to get her if she couldn't get back :) Surprisingly Gigi didn't seem to be scared or panic at all. So our 百厭 Gigi had her first "swim" experience and an adventure before her first birthday! Haha!

Corgi Gathering at Berkeley :)

Today we took Gigi to the monthly Berkeley (Bay Area?) corgi gathering! Prior to this, Gigi already played with fellow corgi Taro in the morning, so she was a bit tired out already. Nonetheless, it was a very worthwhile gathering! Read on to see why ;)

She is Gigi's sister!!! Her name is Kiko.

That's right. As we were talking with fellow corgi owners, Gigi's birthday (which is in 2 weeks) came up in the discussion, and Kiko happened to have the same birthday! And apparently she's the same litter as Gigi!

Gigi celebrates grandpa's birthday

Gigi is taking Auntie Tiffany and Mommy's place in celebrating grandpa's birthday this year. And of course she wants her share of the birthday cake also :PP About two months from today, Gigi will be getting ready to celebrate her own first birthday! XD

Enjoying a dry day

Today is the first dry day in almost 2 weeks. Gigi surely misses spending time in the backyard. Today she spends a lot of time sun bathing, watching birds flew by, feeling the breeze and digging the lawn too >_<. When she came in from the backyard earlier, she had a lady bug on her nose XD It was soooo cute :PP Too bad I didn't have a camera with me.

Forecast said rain is coming back this weekend :(

So Gigi is up in Davis with me now, and she brought back her "ball obsession" to Davis. Here's a video of her "begging to play noises". I just put the camera on the table cuz the point is to hear her silliness.:P

First New Year & Snow Play

Her mommy put her back to her crate after midnight, but she whined a little. May be she still wanted to celebrate her first new year, haha.

We took Gigi to the Sierra for her first snow experience. She was very curious at first, but quickly showed her 貪玩 personality and enjoyed the snow. She didn't seem to mind the coldness. With the pink jacket we bought her, she looked sooooo pretty, as you can see from the pictures below.

There was another doggy there and she so wanted to play with it.
